Section One: Discussion One: Effective Email Communication Discussion
Perform the following tasks:
Step 1: Post your response to the discussion board.
Respond to the following, and if appropriate, include personal experience as part of your answers:
- Describe one example of ineffective (not inappropriate) personal or professional email communication you have received, and why you feel the email was ineffective. Do not use real names of companies or people involved in the example.
Step 2: Read other students' posts and respond to at least two other students.
- Offer at least one suggestion or revision that might have helped the sender communicate more effectively.
Use this step as an opportunity to read other accounts of ineffective (not inappropriate) email communication and suggestions for handling communications more effectively.
