One example of ineffective (not inappropriate) personal or professional email communication that I have received was from someone outside of our organization. Her emails were extremely unclear and almost every sentence ended with a "...". I can understand a "..." now and again, but every sentence is strange. And it was a business email. It didn't seem professional. And I was so confused, what does she mean? Did she want a response to that "..."? Anyway, you get the idea. if you are unclear and use strange punctuation, it can be very ineffective communication.
