Discussion Boards are an excellent tool to survey/solicit information from fellow classmates. However, my preferred method is still email. Emails are generally longer and more thought out. Whereas dicussion boards can sometimes get muddled

I agree with Dan that discussion boards can get muddled. I am a visual person and sometimes I get lost in all the responses. I prefer the email system as well.
