  • Backing up and Restoring Your Course

    This module is a review of how course level backup and restore works, and why you as an Instructor should back up your courses for safekeeping.

    Objectives for this module are:

    1. Be able to back up your course with all enrolled users and with only content
    2. Be able to download a backup copy of a course to your computer
    3. Be able to restore a full course to a new course
    4. Understand how to manage your Backups and the three different sections in the Restore menu
  • Video

    This module is a review of how to add video resources to Moodle content in your courses.

    Objectives of this module are:

    1. Be able to add a video embedded link in a Page from an external site like Youtube
    2. Understand the options for playing the video in the Moodle player, controlling window size and type
    3. Know the difference between embedding/linking to a video and uploading a video file to your course

    This module provides an outline of six key ways you can improve participant engagement in your course design.

    Objectives for this module are:

    1. Understand each of the six ways of improving engagement
    2. Be able to to implement each of the six ways in your courses
  • Participant Best Practices

    This module will provide you with some widely successful general best practices for participants to begin and use courses more successfully.

    Objectives for this module are:

    1. Understand how your course design affects navigation and student engagement
    2. Appreciate how you can eliminate user frustration with clean, consistent course design elements
