This course provides instruction on the principles of human anatomy and physiology, emphasizing the integration of structure and function. The topics covered are terminology, metabolism, chemistry, cytology, histology, the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. It is the first of a two-quarter series. Completion of both A&P 1 and A&P 2 are required to satisfy A&P requirements.
