In this course, students will develop their theoretical understanding and application of family therapy, including the foundational assumptions of both systemic theory as well as postmodernism, which informs contemporary family therapy approaches. Students will focus on the development of personal theory, professional development, and therapeutic change/outcome in their work with family systems.
